Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – JOC/GSA (Michigan)
Location: Flint, MI

Company Overview:
We are a family-owned construction company with a strong track record in managing JOC and GSA Contracts. Additionally, we have a strong presence in the municipal and educational sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Job Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning to completion. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and be a self motivator with extensive knowledge of the construction industry. While the majority of work is located in Michigan, occasional travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and manage all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, estimating, and procurement of materials and labor.
  • Ensure that all construction projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, to ensure that all project goals are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and promptly address any issues.
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance, and take corrective action as needed to ensure profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • 4 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of USPS JOC, GSA contracts, and the Gordian system is a plus.
